A lively Fiesty
beauty which represents true German Shepherd of
superb quality, the Real Deal, I was honored
to have had her in my care. She is proof that
a dog can steal your heart in a split second.
She was taken from me by Degenerative Myelopathy at
just 8 1/2 yrs of age.

Amber,
passed in 2002 of old age and was with us for about 2.5
years after I adopted her at age 10 from the humane society.
She was a darling who adjusted easily to her new life within
a pack of German Shepherds. |

Rooie,
the Orange Tabby, and
Ferris,
the Ferret. Both passed of 'old' age. These were big
buddies, not hunter and prey as one would expect!

Beautiful
Muneca, a Mexican Hairless,
Xoloitzcuintli,
is their official name, passed of
over-vaccination by her breeder in 2006
She had a wonderful personality, she was barely 11 months old.

Castar vom Venushof
2002-2006
Killed by being in the
care of a back yard breeder
And his Sire: SG 17
Falco vom Klebinger Schloss
After a successful
show career in Europe Falco changed hands too often as too many
top ranking male dogs do. He was rescued by me from the
same breeder as where his son Castar had just died, on September 5th 06,
and had a great year and a half of always being with some pretty
GSD Senoritas, walking and living the good life in a very
natural setting and proving what a great German Shepherd dog he
was. I was shocked when on December 19th 07 he suddenly
couldn't lift his back end any longer after having done so well
up until December 18th!. Degenerative Myelopathy likely
took his dignity and I was facing the same heart wrenching
decision as I have had to do before and let him cross the
Rainbow Bridge. He did not have to live without
dignity or in fear as dogs in such a situation face.
He still looked incredible, he was fully checked out, with no
heart murmur, no enlarged prostate, no blood in his stool, and
normal temperature. All was so well for a dog his age!
What a night mare, I wished more research was done on it and
finally we have a test for DM!
Many people loved this great dog and he will be in my heart
forever.
This was Falco in 2006
around Christmas time

FiFi,
a great Female GS dog which I met in Southern France in 1979
