PUP PICS

Both Nolte, aka Zuni, and Aline are even tempered, high energy dogs, with nice brown pigmentation and dark brown eyes.  Interested parties should keep in mind that these pups may need a lot of activity, or better, a job.   With me, I am Zuni's job.  He travels with me 24/7 as he was trained to be my personal protection dog.   Zuni produced lively pups in his last litter with Hummel.  So, these should not be 'just' backyard dogs.  I will hold back the highest and liveliest ones for those who can handle or need such a working prospect.   Zuni is one of VERY FEW show line dogs, and probably the ONLY WIENERAU, who qualified to become a TRUE police or military dog had I not bought him...

Hence, be part of German Shepherd history thru Walter Martin's 50 year effort in creating the Wienerau TYPE.  To the true working dog!  but, a good looking one...

VA 1 Zamb 4,5  -  4,5,5,5    Jello 4,4  explanation:  The 1992 World Champ Zamb Wienerau is 3 generations removed on the sire's (Nolte) Sire's (ie Qrick) side and 4 generations removed on the Sire's Dam (Noscha) side.  Therefore 4,5 removed from the pups side.

Then Zamb is on Aline's side 4,5,5,5.    This is LINE breeding, not inbreeding.  Drawing in the best possible blood/genetics from the champions.  The max allowed is 2,3 line breeding in Germany.  There is no max under AKC rules.

 line breeding on M-and V-litter *Matty Wienerau (3 - 3), Vanta Wienerau (4 -) - Venja Wienerau ( -4)*

"The next big sire in Germany with great genetic potential to raise the breed again, believe me, will come only from Zamb Wienerau or from Jeck Noricum (both sons of Odin Tannenmeise, who is a son of Quando Arminius) only from these two dogs, not from any other. Never. Never"                                     Walter Martin

Explanation on German hip ratings listed above :

a1 - normal hip rating

a2 - nearly normal

a3 - still allowed

Explanations on show ratings listed above

VA is "excellent select".  Only at most 11 dogs per year at the World Championship show in Germany (Bundes Sieger Zucht Schau) obtain this, with VA1 being the designation for the World Champion. To put this in perspective, there are from 1500 to 2000 dogs in all combined categories that are entered thru pre-selection/qualification shows in the World Champion Show.  There are on average 22,000 GSD pups born in Germany alone. World Champion Show in Ulm Germany on September 4,5,6,7  The winner of the 2003 Bundes Sieger show Bax von der Luisenstrasse

V is "Excellent"   SG is "Very Good"  So, if you see for example above SG1 for Ungana Wienerau, she still was the World Champion in the Young Dogs Female category, which means, before she obtained titles and an extremely valuable rating.   Ussaja, the mother of Aline, carries the same genetics, of course.

SchH means Schutzhund and stands for Protection Sport.  Three phases, obedience, tracking and bite work.  Usually in Germany they obtain SchH 1 for the females, then start them in their breeding programs, the males don't have the obstacles of that so they are usually continued up to the SchH 3 level and are shown much more often so they can become stud dogs.
